Kim Kardashian was looking her hottest at the Tao night club in Las Vegas for New Years Eve. Kardashian was wearing a skin tight white Gucci mini dress which was turning heads in the night club.

Kim even went as r as calling the event a tradition considering she has been there for the last 4 or so New Years eves it is going that way. &8220;It&8217;s a tradition to ring in the new year here at Tao!&8221; said Kardashian.

The night club was packed and the vibe was great as Kim counted the crowd down to the New Year.

Kim was also sporting what looked like a new hair style, but we later discovered it was the same clip-in hair extension bangs that Jennifer Lopez wears. The style certainly suits Kim.

Kim did not wear any of the Elizabeth Taylor bracelets she recently purchased for $65&8217;000, but had plenty of other expensive jewelery on.

Kim is very upbeat about the new year, despite having a bad 2011 which included the divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 short days of marriage. Kim told ns &8220;I am ready to move forward and not look back. I learned a lot of about myself this past year and at the end of the day you always have to trust your gut. You&8217;ve got to believe in love. I still do.&8221;

Well that&8217;s good news for prospective suitors, Kim still thinks someone is out there foKim Kardashianr her.

Kim Kardashian has appeared on the cover of the magazine &8220;The Hollywood Reporter&8221;, looking very sombre and telling all about the Kardashian mily and reality television.

Kim says that she would like to see the Kardashians involved in reality television for years to come and sees a bright future for all members of the Kardashian clan. Keeping up with the Kardashians has already been running for 4 seasons and is very successful.

Kim told the magazine: &8220;These shows could really go on for years, There are so many of us, but I think we&8217;ll see more of my younger siblings [Kendall and Kylie].&8221; That was Kim hinting at the new reality TV series planned around Kendall and Kylie Jenner which will probably be produced in 2012.

Kim Kardashian wants to keep the reality TV series going as long as possible with good reason &8211; the mily made an estimated $60 million last year through reality television, advertising and endorsement deals.

So r the reality television side projects such as &8220;Kourtney and Kim Take New York&8221; have done as well as &8220;Keeping up with the Kardashians&8221;, but how many side projects can the viewing public handle? Kim promises that when the shows stop being fun, they will stop them.

As for the mily matriarch, Kris Jenner, she is still largely running the show and told the magazine: &8220;I&8217;m really proud at how hard we&8217;ve all worked this year and what we&8217;ve accomplished&8221;

Kim Kardashian is continuing her bad run of luck since her 72 day marriage to professional basketballer Kris Humphries. It turns out the short lived marriage has tarnished her reputation because many people think it was a scam to make money for the couple!

As a result, she has earned the title of the &8220;Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011&8243;!

The National League of Junior Cotillions give out awards every year for the rudest and most well mannered celebrities of the year. Kim Kardashian obtained the award specifically for &8220; a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage&8221;

The best mannered was awarded to the lovely Duchess Kate Middleton, &8220;for the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight.&8221;

Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift also received awards for being very well mannered celebrities! Another blow to Kim Kardashian!

Kardashian Sisters Fighting!

It appears that the recent arguments between Khloe Kardashian and sister Kim Kardashian have become even worse! It looks like Kim is very angry at the moment because of her recent iled marriage and venting on her sisters.

Kim recently called Khloe an &8220;evil, ugly little troll&8221; just for waking her up before her alarm went off!

The latest insult from Kim to Khloe was Kim suggesting that Khloe is putting on weight and if she continues to do so, husband Lamar Odom will cheat on her! Khloe has been letting the insults roll off her back until this last one, which prompted her to call Kim a .

Is it just jealously from Kim? Khloe and Lamar appear to have a healthy and happy marriage, a stark contrast to Kim&8217;s 72 day dysfunctional marriage.

A source close to the Kardashian&8217;s says that &8220;Kim feels like her life is lling apart and shes taking a lot out on Khloe&8221; Well Khloe has been generous till now, but is starting to fight back after the constant stream of insults.

Kim also suggested that the only reason Khloe is mous is due to Kim and Kourtney. The claws really come out when Kim is pissed off! The only thing that might reconcile their relationship is the ct that Khloe is moving to Dallas, Texas because Lamar Odom signed with a basketball team there. That will give them some time apart to be retrospective and salvage their relationship.. maybe!

Kardashian ns rejoice! It looks like your television screens may soon be filled with even more of the bizaare and hilarious mily in the near future.

Apparently Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are in talks with entertainment channel E! to make a Keeping up with the Kardashians spin-off program which they will star.

There is no title for the program yet but it will apparently feature, Kendall, Kylie, dad Rob Jenner, mom Kris Jenner and half brother Rob Kardashian.

Kendall, who turned 16 this year has already started a successful modeling career so is no stranger to the spotlight, but Kylie has been slightly more out of the spotlight until recently.

The 2 youngest sisters in the Kardashian mily, they both have had a higher profile in 2011, being spotted more on television and at public appearances. Fans seem to really relate to Kylie because she is a very down to earth and friendly person, while Kendall is more glamorous and obviously takes after big sister Kim.

So get ready for a 2012 with even more Kardashians on the television screen!

Employment advocates are praising a proposal to apply federal minimum wage and overtime protections to home care workers, but industry officials contend it will lead to higher costs for elderly and disabled patients.

The Obama administration is proposing to apply the federal Fair Labor Standards Act to roughly 2.5 million home care workers, including an estimated 53,000 in Tennessee. Those workers have been exempt from the nations primary wage and hour law since it was amended during the Ford administration.

The proposed change, released for public comment late last month, would require home care agencies to pay their workers at least the minimum wage. It also would require agencies to pay a higher wage, typically 1 times the regular rate, for any time that employees work above 40 hours in a week.

Worker advocates applaud the idea, but it is drawing resistance from the industry, foreshadowing a likely election-year regulatory fight.

Supporters say the change is long overdue, contending the exemption no longer makes sense. Providing home care for elderly and disabled Americans has evolved beyond simply providing companionship to helping clients bathe, eat, take medication and perform other daily tasks, they said.

This is hard work, and they deserve the same rights and protections as other workers, said Steven Edelstein, national policy director for PHI (Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute), a New York City-based nonprofit advocacy group and professional association for direct care workers.

Change also is needed because home-based care has morphed into a major industry, advocates say. The number of for-profit home care agencies exploded from 47 in 1975 to more than 4,900 in 2006, and their share of Medicare-certified agencies grew from 2 percent to 68 percent in that time, the Labor Department said.

That trend likely will continue as baby boomers age. The government said the number of Americans older than 65 who need some form of daily assistance will double to 12 million by 2030.

Labor officials said the proposed pay and overtime change also would level the playing field nationally, as 20 states and the District of Columbia already apply minimum wage and/or overtime protections to home care workers.

The other 30 states, including Tennessee, do not.

Industry officials dont like expanding overtime pay. They say the federal proposal, while well-intentioned, could drive up costs and disrupt their operations.

Home care agencies likely would hire more workers to avoid paying overtime, the National Association for Home Care and Hospice said. That would cause more scheduling headaches for agencies and reduce paychecks of employees who end up with fewer hours, the trade group said.

Matt Miller, co-owner of Franklin-based Senior Helpers, said he typically pays his live-in caregivers a flat rate of up to $125 a day. Switching to an hourly rate would increase that to more than $200, which he said would be passed on to clients.

This wont affect clients who need care for a few hours a day, but those who need around-the-clock care, this will make it unaffordable, he said.

Labor officials counter that any cost increases would be modest.

Republicans have criticized the proposal and have filed a bill in the House that would make the overtimeKim Kardashian pay exemption for the industry permanent.

One local home care worker interviewed byThe Tennesseansaid she already makes more than minimum wage and her employer voluntarily pays overtime rates when she works it.
